Identify and/or Provide Relevant Sediment and Ancillary Data

Identify types and sources of data relevant to address client’s needs. Evaluate the amount, range, quality, and known/inferred data uncertainties of each available data type to determine if a proper analysis of the data will be sufficient for the client’s purposes (by a “guardian” of the quality of fluvial-sediment data stored in the USGS National Water Information System; and as reviewer sediment-load data produced by USGS Water Science Centers across the USA, and as a researcher /user of USGS fluvial-sediment and -ancillary data , 1997-2013).
 

Data Compilation & Storage

Locate, compile, characterize, and store relevant fluvial-sediment and key ancillary data for the client.
 

Product Client-Centric Reports

Summarize data and associated analyses that focus on relevance to the client’s problem statement (by the author of over 100 peer-reviewed technical reports that deal with riverine and reservoir sedimentology).
